Regan Soquila Collects Hardware as the BCHL Year-End Award Winners are Announced

 
 
Congratulations to Cents forward Regan Soquila, who's great
on-ice play combined with a miniscule 20 penalty minutes has earned him the "Bob Fenton Trophy" as the most sportsmanlike player in the Interior Conference.


My pick, if you listened to the roundtable, was Cents captain Evan Stack, but with 2 PIM's in the last game, he finished with 27 on the season. So as the leading scorer on the team and with 7 less PIM's, Regan seems to be an equally sensible pick.

Bruce Allison Memorial Trophy – Rookie of the Year

Interior Conference: Mario Lucia, Penticton Vees
Coastal Conference: Alex Kerfoot, Coquitlam Express

Best Defenceman Award

Interior Conference: Mike Reilly, Penticton Vees
Coastal Conference: Craig Dalrymple, Powell River Kings

Bob Fenton Trophy – Most Sportsmanlike Player

Interior Conference: Regan Soquila, Merritt Centennials
Coastal Conference: Alex Kerfoot, Coquitlam Express

Joe Tennant Memorial Trophy – Coach of the Year

Interior Conference: Fred Harbinson, Penticton Vees

Goaltending Award (Lowest goals-against average of goalies with 1,000 minutes played)

Wally Forslund Award – Top Goaltending Tandem (best combined goals-against average)

Sean Maguire and Jonah Imoo, Powell River Kings (2.05 GAA)
